BACKEND_FOUNDATION
As a Junior Python Developer at ICTGE., you will work on backend services, API integrations, automation scripts, and database-backed application features under the guidance of senior engineers.
You will be expected to write clean Python code, understand backend fundamentals, debug issues carefully, and improve your ability to ship reliable application logic in a professional development environment.
What You Will Do
API_DEVELOPMENT
Build and maintain REST APIs using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
DATABASE_WORK
Create, update, and query relational database models while following clean schema design and migration practices.
BUG_FIXING
Debug backend issues, review logs, identify root causes, and implement stable fixes.
INTEGRATION_SUPPORT
Support integrations with frontend applications, third-party APIs, authentication flows, and internal services.
CODE_QUALITY
Follow Git workflows, write readable code, document logic where needed, and participate in code reviews.
Skills and Experience

PYTHON_FUNDAMENTALS
Strong understanding of Python syntax, functions, classes, data structures, exception handling, and file operations.

DJANGO_BASICS
Basic to intermediate experience with Django, Django models, views, serializers, URLs, and admin configuration.

API_KNOWLEDGE
Understanding of REST APIs, JSON payloads, HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, and API testing tools.

DATABASE_UNDERSTANDING
Basic knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including queries, relationships, and migrations.
